Welcome Home SkillsUSA Winners...

90 Barry Tech students competed in the SkillsUSA State Competition in Syracuse. The results were outstanding with (5) First Place Winners, (9) Second Place Winners and (3) Third Place Winners.
In addition to the winners, Barry Tech's Medical Assisting Student, Faiz Kapadwala (Hewlett), campaigned and was elected as New York SkillsUSA President for 2012-13 school year. Faiz was also appointed as a SkilsUSA New York State National Delegate.
Veterinary Science student, Sandra Willis (Baldwin), campaigned and was elected as New York State National Delegate.

Time to Explore...

Summer Tech is back @ Barry Tech! Have your child explore different careers this summer. This two week academy will run from July 9-12 and July 16-19 (Monday - Thursday from 8:30-2:00).
Academies are open to students entering 8th - 10th grades in Nassau County. Enrollment is on a first-come, first serve basis and district approval is required for students to attend. For more information, please contact Ms.Tara Bilicki at 622-6952.

Becca's Closet, a Huge Success

Fashion Design students recently donated 485 prom dresses to girls throughout Nassau County. The student teamed up with the organization, Becca's Closet, for its annual dress drive.
